Dog Boarding

Boarding your dog with us

At Cloud Canine Care, we believe every dog deserves a relaxing, fun stay just like they would at home. Whether it’s for a few days or a few hours, we strive to make sure your dog feels comfortable, cared for, and loved. Our goal is to create a cozy and stress-free environment where your pup can unwind and enjoy their time with us. Please review our Policies to make sure we may be a good fit for you!

Booking & Confirmation
Submit a booking request or send us a text or email. Once received and reviewed, we will speak briefly about your dog and schedule a meet and greet. We do not accept dogs that are aggressive towards other dogs or people, or other behaviors outlined on our Policy page. A 50% deposit is required prior to booking, with the remainder being completed during drop off.

Meet and Greet
We want to make sure our boarding is the right fit for your dog! Before confirming a stay, we ask for a meet and greet. This is a one-time prerequisite visit where your dog can spend the day with us for a daycare experience for a few hours, for dogs over 25 pounds. Dogs under 25 pounds are exempt from this requirement, as long as they are not human or dog aggressive. There's a small, non-refundable $25 fee for the meet and greet evaluation, and it helps us get to know your dog better. If everything goes well and we’re a great fit, we'd be excited to welcome your dog into our care! (Note: Dogs that require specialized boarding such as working dogs or sport dogs may be exempt from this- please contact us for further details.)

Drop off
We ask that you schedule your drop off between the appointment hours of 7am-9am or 4pm-6pm. On a limited basis, we may have availability for drop off services within a 10 miles radius for $15.

During your dog's stay
While your dog is with us, they’ll enjoy a fun and relaxing stay here, playing, exploring, and spending time with our family. We treat every dog like one of our own, and we’ll keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you can see all the tail-wagging fun!

Pick up
We schedule pick up for our boarding clients between the hours of 7am-9am. While boarding pickups are scheduled for the morning, you are welcome to have your dog to stay a little longer. They are more than welcome to join our daycare activities for our daily daycare fee and be picked up between 4pm-6pm. On a limited basis, we may have availability for pick up services within a 10 miles radius for $15.

Specialized Boarding
We welcome agencies and handlers needing reliable boarding for their working dogs. We have experience with handling, training, and boarding single-purpose and dual-purpose K9s, sport dogs, and other clients with specialized working dog needs. We are equipped to provide a safe, secure, and structured environment for them during their stay. Invoicing is available for departments or handlers requiring documentation for reimbursement or recordkeeping. Contact us directly for more information regarding this service, as our policies for working dogs differ from standard boarding clients.

frequently asked questions

Do you require a meet and greet before boarding?

Yes, a meet and greet at our home is required before your dog’s first stay. It helps ensure a good fit and gives your dog a chance to get comfortable in the environment.

Do you board aggressive dogs, or dogs with behavioral issues?

Our goal is to create a safe and fun environment for all, so we’re not able to accept dogs who show any signs of aggression (towards people or other dogs), destructive behavior, severe separation anxiety, illness, are in heat, or are known for jumping fences/escaping.

Do you offer updates during my dog’s stay?

Definitely! We send text updates with photos so you can see how your pup is doing. We also regularly share pictures and videos on our social media (unless requested otherwise).

What should I bring for my dog’s stay?

Please bring your dog’s food (pre-portioned in Ziplock type bags), any medications, and their collar with ID tags. We ask that you leave bedding, toys, and blankets at home. We have plenty of these here for them to use and enjoy!

Will my dog get to play with other dogs?

Yes, if your dog is social and enjoys the company of others, we carefully match them with playmates based on size, energy, and temperament. If your dog prefers solo time, that’s perfectly okay as well. We have plenty of activities to do alone or with the company of other pups!
