Here’s a quick look at some of our important policies. These help us create a safe, comfortable environment for all the dogs in our care.
Your dog's up to date vaccinations are required to be on file with us. Vaccinations required: Rabies, Bordetella, and DHHP. Heartworm and flea/tick prevention is also required. Vaccinations must be administered by a licensed veterinarian, at least 14 days prior to your dog’s stay.
Dogs requiring medication during their stay must disclose this prior to booking any services. We are able to administer pill medication as needed, but any significant medical needs will have to be discussed prior to confirming your stay. Please disclose any medical conditions or allergies your dog may have.
Any dog's showing signs of illness or have been exposed to other sick dogs in the last 14 days need to wait until they are healthy enough to visit us. For the safety and comfort of everyone, any new dogs that you may have adopted or foster must also have been in your care for at least 14 days. This is to help better understand their behavior and ensure they’ve received proper vaccinations from a veterinarian. This policy also applies to dogs in rescue care that come here for boarding or daycare. We love our fosters, so understand that sometimes boarding and daycare can be beneficial for them!
Pickups and drop-offs are by appointment only, so we can maintain a calm routine and give our full attention to the dogs in our care. The dog's comfort and happiness are always at the heart of what we do. We spend a lot of time with the dogs in our play yard and are unable to leave them unattended. To ensure we stay on schedule, arrivals or pickups more than 15 minutes late will incur a $30 late fee.
Boarding drop-off: 7am-9am or 4pm-6pm
Boarding pick-up: 7am-9am
Daycare drop-off: 7am-9am
Daycare pick-up: 4pm-6pm
While boarding pickups are scheduled for the morning, you are welcome to have your dog to stay a little longer. They are more than welcome to join our daycare activities for our daily daycare fee and be picked up between 4pm-6pm.
Before their first boarding stay, we require a meet-and-greet at our home to make sure your dog feels comfortable and happy here. Our goal is to create a safe and fun environment for all, so we’re not able to accept dogs who show any signs of aggression (towards people or other dogs), destructive behavior, severe separation anxiety, illness, are in heat, or are known for jumping fences/escaping. This is for all services we provide. Please read the exemptions below to see if your dog may qualify.
Before your dog’s visit, we’ll check with you about whether you’re comfortable with them socializing and interacting with other dogs and if they may be a fit for group play. Dogs are grouped based on size, energy levels, and personalities - some love to play and roughhouse, while others prefer to relax or keep to themselves. Please let us know your preferences when booking daycare or boarding, so we can ensure your dog’s stay is just right!
Exemptions:
-Dogs under 25 pounds are exempt from this requirement, as long as they are not human or dog aggressive.
-For dogs that require more specialized care, like working dogs or sport dogs, contact us as they may be exempt from this.
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve your dog’s stay. Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit is received. Deposits are non-refundable, unless the reservation is canceled at least two weeks prior to the scheduled stay, as we reserve your spot and do not accept deposits for your dog's service request. The remaining balance is due in full when your dog arrives for their stay, payable by Venmo, Zelle, or cash. Please note that we do not offer refunds for early pick-ups.
At least one emergency contact must be provided. All efforts will be made to contact these individuals, in case of emergency. It’s important to ensure your contact is available and up-to-date, and notify us of any changes.
We love capturing moments with our visiting client dogs! When we have special events like holiday photos or theme days, or just doing everyday fun activities, we’d be excited to share those pictures with you.
During boarding we will send you updates via text or email, including photos of your dog, so you can see how much fun they’re having! There’s no need to respond, these updates are just for your peace of mind. We also love sharing photos and videos of our guests on social media to enjoy.
On select holidays, we are closed for pick up and drop off. You must drop off at least 1 day prior. It is recommended to book your dog's stay during the holidays in advance, as this is one of the most-booked times for boarding. During holidays where they may be fireworks or other loud type festivities, our boarding dogs are kept secure and have activities to keep them busy so they do not stress. If your dog has noise sensitivities, please let us know so we can be as accomadating as possible.
